We all know about the cultivation of paddy and its origin, but we should also know that our ancestors have been cultivating paddy for thousands of years. I knew you guys are so eager to listen to the varieties! Is It?

Lets move to the brief description!!

We have a wide variety of traditional paddies. Our Indian farmers have found 40 lakh varieties of paddy suitable for our land, usage and season. But a great truth behind is that only some varieties of paddy exist because of modern revolution. It's our responsibility to restore everything. But we as humans being forgetting about the traditional culture and foods and switching over to modernized world.

The Fact here is eating rice will cure many diseases as well!

Black Currant Rice (Karuppu Kavuni) - This is the type eaten by kings. It can cure cancer and insulin secretion.

Wild Rice (Kaattuyanam) - It can correct diabetes, constipation and cancer.

Illuppaippusambar Rice (Eluppaipoo samba) - It's good for stroke and foot pain will be cured.

Thangacamba Rice - The tooth becomes strong and prevents from heart disease.

Salem Sanna Rice - Strengthens muscle, nerve and bone.

Red Samba - It clears rashes.

Sixtieth Curd Rice (Arupatham Kuruvai) - It makes bones strong.

Ebony Rice (Karunguruvai) - It restores lost power and cure deadly diseases.

Poongar Rice - Another red rice also called as women's rice. It helps women to overcome many health problems ranging from gynecological issues to joint pains.

Mappillai Samba Rice - It's rich in Iron and Zinc. It helps ion easy digestion as it is in fibre content too. It increase hemoglobin content. It helps in nourishing vein, muscles, nerves and blood.

Bamboo Rice (Moongil Rice) - It's a healthier option for diabetics. It also strengthens and energizes the body. It also lowers cholesterol level.

Vaalaan Samb Rice - It will ease for normal delivery and its strengthens the pelvis bone.

These are only some of the varieties where I have mentioned above, still a lot about to know more.
As by 2050, we all know we have to feed two-billion more people, but the question arises will the modernized world by that time helps us to live a healthier life? The solution exists only with us by following the traditional way which not only leads to live a healthier life by the time but also to lead a disease-free life too.
